Dear Wesleyan community,
We would like to invite you to our annual Mammoth Hunt with Atlatls on the afternoon of Thursday, April 23. The event will take place on the athletic practice field just north of Long Lane farm. You can sign up for a 45-minute session using the QR codes or links below. Participants will have a chance to throw darts using a spear-throwing tool called an atlatl. Hit the target and win a stuffed mammoth toy!
All Wesleyan community members and their families are welcome to take part (children are welcome with parental supervision). The event is co-sponsored by the Archaeology & Anthropology Collections, Wesleyan University Library, Archaeology Program, and Environmental Archaeology Lab. Thank you to the Athletics Office for letting us use the Long Land practice field.
