Research Pathways is an annual series sponsored by the College of Integrative Sciences and the Gordon Career Center to help connect students to research opportunities. Any and all students interested in getting started with research at Wesleyan are encouraged to attend.
Our spring event will be held Friday, January 23, 2026, 1:30pm-3:30pm in the Exley Science Center lobby.
Research Pathways is a campus event designed to help undergraduate students explore research at Wesleyan, with a focus on opportunities available this spring and over the summer.
Students will share the research they’re doing at Wes, with opportunities to hear directly about their work and connect with faculty and staff involved in projects and labs.
Research Pathways will include:
- On-campus research opportunities for the spring and summer
- Clear guidance on getting started, including for students with no prior research experience
- Conversations with faculty, staff, and students involved in research
- Student perspectives on research opportunities and experiences
Open to all undergraduate students, especially those who are curious about research and unsure where to begin.
Register to save the date and receive updates as more details are released.
Hosted by the College of Integrative Sciences & the Gordon Career Center.
Attention all student researchers:
We invite all interested students to present a poster (from last summer’s symposium or another conference you attended). Please complete this form to sign-up for the event. Set up and takedown will be before and after the event. If you cannot attend the whole time, we ask you to leave your poster up while you are away.
This is an excellent opportunity to present your work and gain experience discussing your research project (useful for grad school and job interviews!) as well as build the research community here at Wesleyan. Please reach out if you have any questions about the event, form, or process.
Attention all faculty mentors:
We invite all faculty mentors to share their resources and recruit new research students at the fair! Staff and representatives of programs and departments are also encouraged to attend. Sign up here.
